Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, the 2.5D action-RPG which delivers as a prequel to the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which launches on May 10th for Xbox platforms and joins Xbox Game Pass on day one.

They were announced and confirmed for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass at E3 last year. Rising is a prequel to Eiyuden: Hundred Heroes (which is delayed to launch in 2023), and it’s characterized by publisher 505 Games as a fast-paced 2.5D action RPG with town-updating elements.


According to the game’s official Store agenda, here is a short desolate of the story and what we can anticipate: “What starts as a easy treasure hunt turns into a dark mob or gang that will tremble the world and plant seeds that carry over into the main story of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

The game will make you understand a certain part of Eiyuden Chronicle’s cast of characters in a real story with electrifying action and appealing town-updating elements.

This launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 10th. It will also be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

One of the main motive for the campaign was a second associated partner game designed to set the act before the main game would be released.

As such, this is is not the Suikoden successor fans have been waiting for that will come in 2023 as Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

The story will be managed by Suikoden I and II writer Yoshitaka Murayama, with character design by Junko Kawano (Suikoden I, IV), system design and direction by Osamu Komuta (Suikoden Tierkreis, Suikoden Tactics), and art direction and production by Junichi Murakami (Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, OZ).



The games album will have music by composers Michiko Naruke (Wild Arms series) and Motoi Sakuraba (Tales series), among other artists.
